Memoirs
Brave enough to travel across the South Seas
In search of greener pasture
For ambition and survival
She embraced courage for changes to come.
Armed with the Word
She faced all tribulations with wisdom from the Good Book
In principles and in practice
She walked the talk of God.
To society she contributed
A teacher she became
Imparted knowledge and values
To many protege she is remembered by.
To her husband she was his strength
His home she took the helm
To see to his children in sustenance and education
Indeed she was the noble woman of the Book.
Her children taught and led by her
To envelope lessons tutored by her
In society they stand tall and hale
All in tandem with Mother's call.
Her daughters-in-law have this to say
They are grateful for the sons she had nurtured
Sons who are husbands envied by many
For the care and love they lead the home.
To my mother in law
I reaffirm her goodness
Forever grateful for the son she gave me
Who cares with endless effort; a reflection of her navigation.
To her be the boundless memoirs on this 4th Anniversary.
